Original page created on 22/07/2011.

Roco 63438

Type

BB 63919

Mass / Max. current @ 12 V

285 g / 1.1 A

Comments

Be careful when dismantling bogies: the axles leave their housing and the contact strips are difficult to put back in place.

The width is forced about 2 mm, probably due to the size of the motor.

The buffer bases are not shown. The guard rails go up at the cab level because the mounting holes are incorrectly positioned.

Anachronistic (for my era) “Arzens” livery and “casquette” logo, this livery having begun to be applied in 1985.

See gamos81.altervista.org for the reference list of issued BB 63000 models.

Modifications

  • First tests with a Lenz Silver decoder.
  • New PCB with heat sink tubes, red lights and cab lighting.
  • Background of ventilation grilles painted black.
  • Broken drawbar changed (Fleischmann part).
