Correct appearance. Some parts are to be mounted: railings, chutes.
Coal load, movable, to the brim, which is unlikely, and in this case the suspension springs should be right down. The wagon inside is not demonstrable, because not arranged. So no empty running possible.
Bright wheels ⌀ 11 (should be 11.5). The wagons don’t run easily, because there is too much clearance between axle and axle boxes: the axles tend to rise, so that the wheels rub on the chassis.
The railings and steps are rather fine. These parts are not too fragile because they are made of flexible material.
These wagons are in the Europ pool (scheme 01), which is confirmed by the SNCF Wagons à marchandises (Freight Wagons) booklet of 1979.
See Loco-Revue Forum.
These wagons have UIC number between 21 87 550 0 000 and 551 9 999. Volume 40 m3; tare 12 t; C load 28 t. Other information welcome: manufacturers (Arbel and probably ANF-Frangeco among other), number, years of production, etc.
The Roco model is based on the type ordered by the DR (East Germany) to the French industry in 1972/73 in 3 900 units, which shows slight differences from the purely French type.
