Quotation of Loco-Revue No. 504.
This Standard-D type covered wagon operated most of the “fruit and vegetable” traffic during the steam era! Built between 1948 and 1951 from parts manufactured in the USA, the series was important, as evidenced by its registration: 21 87 165 3 000 to 9 499 Ghks 6.14. With a number of its colleagues, the wagon photographed got, in the sixties-seventies, Permaplex walls. The last units were withdrawn between 1980 and 1984.
