Comments
Lighting pre-equipment: axles rotate in metal bearings, but are not half-insulated. Electrical connection parts are provided, but the instructions do not say anything about their location. Wheels not burnished.
Value for money better than for Roco SNCF productions.
Coach too low (about 0.6 to 0.7 mm), and
unfortunately “banana shaped” as shown in this photo compressed to
highlight the defect (and this is not a deformation due to the
camera). If you doubt, go and see the Jouef MU sleeping car whose
deformation is opposite, photo taken under the same conditions.

Modifications
- Floor and wall decoration by printed and cut adhesive photo paper.
- Painted wheels on half isolated axles.
- Lighting controlled by bistable reed switch.
- Raising of 0.75 mm on average.
History
The ABm225 coaches are ex AB4üm 225 built in 1963 in 302 units.
The series ABm225 could have been numbered 51 80 31-70 000 to 70 301 (subject to confirmation).
