Volkswagen T2a “Kombi”
Respect of the scale very correct, but glasses not flush, door and window uprights much too big (probable cause, the moulding in zamak), and big protrusion underneath for attaching on the box.
The VW Transporter second generation was manufactured from 1967 to 1979 (the first generation, called type 2, because the type 1 is the Beetle — a little complicated! appeared in 1949). T2a is produced until 1972, followed by T2b. Note: the name “Kombi” is not official.
The most visible external differences between the two are the front indicators gone from the bottom to the top, the less-enveloping front bumpers, and the smaller diameter VW badge.
Features (1967 model): four-cylinder flatbed engine, 1594 cm³, 35 kW (47 hp) DIN. Tyres 185 R 14. Top speed 105 km/h.
