Unpainted model, therefore translucent body. Headlights inserted but not reflective. Their strapping is not painted. The grille is correct. Rear lights painted. The bonnet mould join, above the grille, is curiously less visible than on the van. Huge steering wheel!

The wheels and tyres are of a correct size. Rear axle with independent wheels, which gives the suspension, whose arms are figured, much more realism. But consequently, the wheels get a little skewed…

History

The R4 was produced from 1961 to 1992. The “narrow” grille model dates back to before 1967.

Features (1965 model): four cylinder in-line engine, 845 cm³, 23.5 kW (32 hp) SAE. Tyres 135 or 145 SR 13. Top speed 106 km/h approx.
