Magirus 130M8 tractor

Comments

The cab is not very well rendered; see especially the non re-entrant step.

The diameter of the fifth wheel hole (2 mm) is not compatible with that of the Herpa or Brekina tractors (3 mm).

Disassembly: start by removing the bumper. Then remove the black part of the cab (two clips on the back and the headlights on the front), then the inside. The most difficult is to remove the windows because the pins on the ceiling are a little hard.

Modifications

Rear lights painted. Mirrors mounted.

Axles shortened and rear tyres glued on the rims. Diameter of the fifth wheel enlarged to 3 mm.
