Ford Transcontinental tractor unit with 20 ft container semi-trailer
Comparing with the actual lorry picture, the cab doesn’t appear to be elevated as it should be. It looks closer to the original Berliet cab.
Uniformly green, unpainted. Mirrors moulded on the cab. The semi-trailer is articulated on a “four leaf clover” made of flexible plastic, snapped into a hole of the tractor. The container is held by a large central pin, which would prevent it from being replaced by a container of another brand. The headlights are simply silver. Not worth the price. It would be much better repainted and equipped with added mirrors and headlights.
The Ford Transcontinental first version was manufactured from 1975 to 1978. It was equipped with a raised Berliet KB 2400 cab.
