There is a little too much chrome (see the grille!). The front end of the bonnet is virtually invisible, and there is a curious indentation in the wings around the headlights. Where have they found this? Decidedly, Herpa makes a lot of howlers, and the AMI 6 has no luck at 1/87 scale!

History

The AMI 6 estate car appeared in 1964 (the saloon in 1961).
End in 1969. It was built in Rennes.

Features (1965 model): air-cooled two-cylinder flatbed engine, 602 cm³, 18 kW (24 hp) DIN. Tyres 135 × 380. Top speed 110 km/h.
