Viewing the photo of the real wagon, the engraving (reinforcements of body) seems very forced.

This wagon called “Dresden” was manufactured in Germany from 1914 to 1928 to 5600 units (source: TVNP website, link broken). Some, equipped with end doors, were specialized in the transport of luxury cars (source: Loco-Revue forum, Les p’tits couverts, page 32). This is the case of the Roco model.
According to Loco-Revue Special Issue Real Railways No. 2, the 78 ex-DR wagons got back by the SNCF, No. IJ 87 840 to 600 138 (?) received a UIC number 21 87 212 3 000 to 4 112 Hbcs 2.52.
According to Ferrovissime Special Issue No. 7, there were, in January 1968, 77 wagons, formerly IJ 87 847 to 882 and 600 101 to 141. UIC number 21 87 212 3 000 to 213 2 000.
