45 g (NEM: 48 to 63 g).
Small improvements include brass bearings, additional underframe details (pipes, valves, springs, linkage), and painted brake handles.
But there are still no buffer handles, the shutters are not inserted, nor the handrails, nor the door latches, all things which exist on more recent productions, and in spite of that less expensive. There is still a conflict between the step supports and the chassis stiffeners. Difficult to understand!
The supplied brake wheels are too large. The employee may have a chance of getting his fingers trapped by the chassis!
The sharing code 2 instead of 3 on one of the LS Models wagons is not wrong, because according to Ferrovissime No. 7, some wagons were liable, in the 1970s, to be downgraded by reducing their maximum load. In fact, the Gs 3 displays a maximum load of 21 t in the S regime, while the Gs 2 only shows 20 t. It’s subtle!
Finally, there is only one box, of square format, for the two wagons, which will not facilitate the individual resale.
A and C-Standard covered wagons, UIC numbers 01 87 125 0 000 to 01 87 126 4 999 Gs 3.11 and 21 87 129 0 000 to 21 87 129 7 149 Gs 3.13. Former registration K(v) 297 000 to 324 750, and 327 251 to 334 350.
There are very slight differences in size between A and B-Standard on the one hand, and the C-Standard on the other: the first are in US measures, while the latter are in metric measures. For example, the wheelbase goes from 5.994 m to 6.0 m, which changes nothing to the 1:87 scale…
Quotation of Gérard Huet.
A and B-Standard covered wagons were supplied in kit by the industry of the USA, and assembled in France on arrival (e.g. the bodies were delivered in four panels — two side faces + two ends).

The wagon No. 475 has roller bearing boxes, the other has plain bearing boxes.
Many defects of the former series have been corrected: the chassis is not deformed. The wheels now have the correct diameter and are burnished. Also, the colour is more realistic.
