Comments
The body is quite finely engraved. Apart from the door latch and step, all the attachments are in metal: end steps (photo-etched), various railings, door and buffer handles, etc. The self-checking figure for the UIC number is wrong: should be 7…
One annoying detail for me: the aluminium paint on the ventilation flaps has too coarse particles. Other manufacturers have done much better.
The chassis is very detailed, right down to the anti-fall hoops under the brake bars. The axle holders are fixed to the chassis by two small screws. The buffers are spring-loaded, but their bodies are not detailed.
The wheels, not burnished, are not insulated, but joined by a rather thick plastic sleeve (⌀ 3.4). This system, useful for lighting a coach, is not justified here. The flanges are thin. Characteristics of the axles: see table of dimensions opposite. There are no brass bearings, but the running is good.

Around 1960, the UIC standardised a high-capacity covered wagon, which
gave the DB the type Glmms 61 (Gbs 254).
According to the German website dybas.de, 10,660 wagons of this type were acquired by the DB between 1961 and 1966.
Main characteristics: tare 13.4 t; maximum load 26.5 t; usable area 33 m2; speed limit 100 km/h.

This wagon is sold in a two-piece heavy cardboard box with a compact foam cradle inside, covered by a thermoformed plastic cover.
