The buffer handles, which are supplied unassembled, pose two problems. Firstly, they are made of very thin, very fragile plastic, and are not easy to fit. They have to be glued in place. Secondly, they are curiously close to the wagon axis, and not really below the buffers. I don’t know if this is true of the actual model, but they prevent the elongating drawbar from moving left to right. So they can’t be fitted for operation. Yet another drawback: these parts are painted black, but they are actually yellow. The same goes for the gangway steps, which are white…
See the Loco-Revue Forum.
Drilling of new locations for the buffer handles, offset
outwards by 3 mm, allowing the drawbar to move correctly. The flaking paint is clearly visible in
the photo.
Replacement with nickel silver parts is planned.

Finely engraved wagon, to the same high standard as REE. The markings are clear. The chassis is very detailed, with its special braking equipment. Only the engraving of the suspension springs is less good.
The axles are NEM compliant, and rotate in brass bearings. The wheels are not very pretty.
The downside is a tendency to lose parts at the slightest handling: in my case, two hatch wheels, a platform step and an empty/loaded handle transmission bar.
