149 g (NEM: 112 to 146 g).
The brake hoses are mounted, which is good for the display case. They will have to be removed to fit an NEM coupling.
The grey window frames are thin. I am less convinced by the door windows, whose glass part protrudes outwards.
The fittings are in several parts: dark grey floor, orange seats, partitions cream at the bottom, metallic grey at the top (for the corridor), grey luggage rack. The side walls are untreated. Pity. A brake wheel is screen-printed on the toilet wall at each end of the coach. I wonder if this is actually possible?
There is of course a three-point suspension, with, as is often the case, a difference in height between the extremities, here very slight (3 tenths of a millimetre). The wheels, burnished but shiny, have a diameter of 10.9 mm. Axle dimensions: see table opposite. The flange height is a bit too much to my taste. The wheel back-to-back distance is NEM compliant.
The bogies are fitted with metal “false side beams”, associated with the two-part axles joined by an insulating sleeve, à la Roco. The electrical equipment will be made easier, but this is not planned: wires will have to be soldered on tiny tongues, with compulsory dismantling of the bogies, at the risk of melting the plastic.
No instructions are provided: we’ll have to improvise for dismantling. By the way, the roof and the body are in one piece.

For 20 years of production many versions were produced, differing in the type of heating, the type of doors used, the interior design and its organisation. A total of 2825 coaches were produced, which makes 111A the longest series of coaches in Poland. 1500 pieces are still in service.
There were also different roofs, first smooth, then corrugated from the 1980s onwards.
Other coaches of the same type: 104A (mixed 1st/2nd class); 112A (1st class); 110A (couchette); 113A (bar); 209C (van); 120A (central corridor).

The exterior appearance seems to be well rendered. The dimensions are fairly well respected, except for the height where 1 mm is missing. This lack of height is also found at the buffer level. It should therefore be fairly easy to correct.
