History

The R1264 was originally an oil-fired machine, converted for coal-fired heating in 1956 following the Suez crisis. Affected on 9 June 1947 at Le Mans, it was assigned to the Boulogne depot on 4 November 1965. It was withdrawn on 12 November 1969. The last 141 Rs cease to be used in 1971 on the Nord region.
