Crane in good condition except a broken bogie.

In 2012, there existed a Diesel conversion kit for this crane at Antipodes.

Modifications

  • Crane.
  • Box repaired, inside fitted with extruded PS. All items, including the two accompanying wagons, are stored into this box.
  • A bogie having been broken during a fall, the two bogies are repaired and/or reinforced, the axles changed (on crane and wagons) with ⌀ 11 Roco wheels on Micro-Model axles (ex-Train Magique).

History

Cranes built in five units in 1945 by Cockerill in Belgium. In the 1970s, the crane of Villeneuve was already converted to Diesel. Its jib carrier was a diamond bogie TP flat wagon. See a photo of this crane in 1976 extracted from the Loco-Revue Forum.Villeneuve crane in 1976
