Comments

New 1973.

Much more compliant than the France-trains, but it’s Jouef engraving anyway… And the UIC rubber joints are far too low.

Moulded end handrails levelled for the purpose of replacing them with metal rods; never done… Y24 bogies lowered and refined. Hornby plastic wheels.

One unit in C160 livery bought used in June 2019. It bears the same UIC number!

Modifications

  • Liliput ⌀ 10.8 metal wheels.
  • Makette elongation drawbars.
  • Chassis separated from glazing (which will be redone)
  • In progress: interior design, steps made of nickel silver, some articulated for curve negotiation, recessed end gates, inserted window panes, tail lights, etc.

History
