Panachoc clockwork circuit Jouef

Composed of metal rails and a plastic intersection, equipped with levers to make the cars bump — they can be seen in the photo, darker red metal parts on a branch of the crossing. The cars then started in reverse. The same process could cause them to run forward again. I also remembered a Panabifur circuit, with an automatic switch that was reversed at every car passing, but I think it was my friends’, Vincent or Jean-Paul.

I don’t remember what year I got this circuit, but it was probably in 1957 or 1958. I have no vestige of it. It should be noted that the Panachoc was still included in 1964 tariff, at the price of 16.50 francs; a forward / back running car was worth 2.75 francs.
