Busch 46500
Renault 4CV 1958
The expected colour was grey. The delivered model is bordeaux. Headlights inserted, but only silver, not transparent. Rear lights painted.
Tyres much too wide (+ 43%!). The rims should be painted and not chrome (except the hub-cap). Finally, air intakes on the rear wings are missing.
That said, the silhouette is well rendered.
The Renault 4CV was manufactured from 1947 to 1961, in Billancourt and Flins. The grille decoration with three bars (instead of six before) dates 1954. The wheels with removable rims (“star”) as in the picture are replaced by plain wheels as on the Busch model in the fall of 1957. Source: jef.pilon.free.fr (broken link).
Features (1958 model): four-cylinder in-line engine, 747 cm³, 15.5 kW (21 hp). Tyres 135 × 400. Top speed 103 km/h.
