Comments

Metallic. Proven UH origin (front windows open, locking system under the floor). Seems, as often, a little “low roof”. Well applied paint (the black of the roof surrounds the windscreen and the rear window without burrs). Clean rims (it’s quite rare at Norev), but tyres with some mould burrs. Headlights inserted.

See Loco Revue forum about the previously released UH model.

I have two copies, the second being a gift of Narwag due to a delivery error.

History

The Panhard PL17 was produced from 1959 to 1965.

The 1961 model is characterized by doors opening in the “right” direction and indicators with trims — so to speak — under the headlights. It will be necessary to wait until 1963 for the suppression of the not aesthetic, but characteristic, sorts of visors, above the headlights, but remaining on the tail lights.

Features (1961 Tigre model): front wheel drive, air-cooled, two-cylinder flat engine, 851 cm³, 37 kW (50 hp). Tyres 145 × 380. Top speed 145 km/h.
