The overall look is good, but spoiled by the obviously too big wheels. The chrome bars on the grille are not thin enough.

The scale is very well respected, except for the height (+1.3 mm!), mainly because the wheels are too big and the tyres too wide (+0.5 mm).

The headlights and the two outside mirrors are mounted, the rear lights are painted. The door handles are not painted, nor are the windscreen wipers, moulded with the bodywork.

The light brown interior is correct. The inserted steering wheel is unfortunately too thick.

History

The DAF 66 was manufactured from 1972 to 1975, then until 1980 under the Volvo brand.

Characteristics (model 1972): in-line four-cylinder (Renault) motor, 1108 cm³, 34.5 kW (46 hp) DIN. Tyres 155 SR 13. Top speed 136 km/h. Empty weight 840 kg.

It was equipped, like its predecessors, with the famous Variomatic transmission with belts and variable diameter pulleys.
