Matchbox 65
Claas combine harvester
Model appeared in 1967, replaced in 1972 with a Saab Sonnet, according to the Moko Lesney Matchbox Toy Collecting website.
Scale given in the catalogue: 1/106. The table opposite shows that this scale is extremely variable! But this is of course only a toy.
Claas is a German brand founded in 1913, still flourishing today. Among other things, it acquired Renault Agriculture in 2008. It has several factories in France, including one in Le Mans, which manufactures farm tractors.
The Matchbox model could be a Matador, a machine which, according to its manufacturer, was built between 1961 and 1969 to more than 35,000 units.
For the 1970s, the most suitable model would be the Dominator.
