Norev 157075W
Citroën DS 23 1972
Compared to the previous batch (DSuper), there is a real improvement in overall quality. The rims are almost flawless. The painting (bumper stops, etc.) are not very well applied yet.
The rear track is too narrow due to the thickness of the rear wing metal above the wheels.
The DS with streamlined headlights was produced from 1968 to 1975, in the Aulnay factory from 1973 (it will be then the CX). Note: the Aulnay plant is about to close (09/2012).
The Autotitre website as well as Wikipedia give the dates of manufacturing from 1973 to 1975 for the DS 23. Norev was wrong giving 1972.
Features (1973 model): four-cylinder in-line engine, 2347 cm³, 91 kW (113 hp) DIN. Tyres 180 HR 380. Top speed 179 km/h.
