There are commercially available elongating drawbars, but they have disadvantages, the first being that they are rarely available! So why not make our own?

The Res wagon released by Jouef at the end of 2021 is proposed with a Load of wire crowns. This loading is in resin, and not very realistic. We’ll try to do better.

Like many, I live in a flat. And like many, I was frustrated not to be able to run my train models. So several years ago I started thinking about an outdoor circuit on my terrace.

The latching reed switch is THE solution for controlling the lighting in coaches. The only drawback, but a big one: it is almost impossible to find one for sale! So let’s make some, and cheaply!

The Jouef MT-type pantograph is fairly fine, but has a few simplifications. It also has a folded position holding system not very discreet and it is difficult to handle.

The rear view of the Citroën 1:87 scale models is spoiled by the axle, which doesn’t exist in reality. Let’s try to make the wheels independent, as they are in reality.
