Hello. My name is Bernard Guillotin. My interests are, in order of appearance: trains, photo, computer science and Africa. Over time, I managed to combine more or less all that.
I am a railwayman’s son, grandson and great-grandson. My maternal grandfather was a Station Chief at the Compagnie du Nord. My father was a mechanical inspector (VB) in Lille.
I am an electrical engineer (ENSEM 1974), and a teacher by profession. I would have liked to enter the French Railways, as my ascendants, but I could not, because too visually impaired… But finally, I don’t regret anything.
